Before submitting your entries, have all necessary materials at hand.
Before starting, review the Publication Categories so you know which one each of your publications belongs to. Review each Entry Category for its requirements.
All entries must have been published between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016. (For print, the cover dates must be within those parameters. For digital, the published date must be within those parameters.). All members of MMPA are eligible to submit entries regardless of where they are published. Entries from nonmembers must be published in Minnesota but may be printed elsewhere. For the purpose of these awards, a publication must still be publishing when the submission is made. The publication must be designed to inform and entertain primarily and cannot be a pure advertising piece.
All Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016. Early bird pricing ended June 17, 2016. The final deadline is July 1. THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONAL EXTENSION.
To successfully complete your online entry, you will need the following information and materials at hand:
► A copy of each entry to provide you with the exact publication title, article title, issue/publication date and other information to include in the entry form.
► A representative PDF for each of your entries. This image may be used in the PowerPoint presentation at the awards gala.
► All PDFs required by your entry categories (see this table). These should generally follow an 8.5" x 11" format.
► PDF file sizes should be no greater than 30mb.
► An editorial profile for each publication that has an entry. This must include a brief description of the publication's editorial goals or mission as well as a brief demographic profile of the publication's readership.
► Your company's payment information. If you’re using a credit card, you’ll need the card owner name, account number, expiration date, and security code. Early-bird entry fees (before June 18) are $55 per entry for MMPA members and $120 per entry for nonmembers. From June 18 to July 1, the price increases to $65 per entry for MMPA members and $130 per entry for nonmembers. The submission program will provide you with the total amount due. ► If you're submitting entries that require physical materials:
• Prepare a separate envelope for each entry.
• Clearly label each envelope with the entry category and the entry number generated when you complete the online entry process.

If these guidelines are not followed, your entries may be deemed ineligible. MMPA will not make refunds for ineligible entries.
